Loosely coupled Chess group blog via Technorati tags?
Calling Chess bloggers - how about setting up a loosely coupled distributed blogging network type thing, using Technorati's new tagging feature? How about using a virgin tag like ChessBlogs?
Then apply the same tag to our Flickr photos, Del.icio.us bookmarks and so on, and hey presto - a new Chess group blog.
Update: Bloggers have been asking me, 'How to put Technorati tags on their posts'. Well, you can check out this blog for full details.

IE6 doesn't like technorati.com
So it is maybe not a good idea.
No, I don't think that's correct. I am checking out my blog with both IE 6 and Firefox 1.0.4 and the blog loads within seconds. What I did was to use the two links given in my blog ie. Fix HTML Code Errors and Validate your Markup, to finetune the html of my blog and now no problems in both browsers.
Hi. you dropped by in my blog. Thanks for the sidebar feedback.:)
I have a question? How do you put your Technorati tags on your posts? I'm using a Greasemonkey script. How about you?
What I mean is that accessing the technorati website is extremely slow. They cause the same problems for IE6 as your blog did recently.
Frankly, I am no great fan of IE as it has caused me endless headaches (read Viruses, Spywares etc). Ever since I shifted to Firefox this has never been a problem. Anyway, I did try loading Technorati in IE6, but I don't face any problems.
Mmmm, since I have accepted Microsoft as a given phenomenon I have learned to work around problems and to neglect their existance. Maybe I should have a look at Firefox.
I installed Firefox.
It appears that IE6 is more forgiving for syntaxerrors in html.
So I had no idea that the other half of the world couldn't see a part of my links. Now I understand why you didn't see my E-mailadres in the sidebar.
You won't regret your decision of using Firefox. I would suggest that you verify your html thro' the two links in my Tools section namely - 'Fix HTML Code Errors' and 'Validate your Markup'. When you run your site thro' these tools, you will get errors for some tags used in comments by blogger.com. You can't do much about this, but you can fix the others.
